One Mile Challenge are a top speed competitions for passenger cars and its idea is to achieve the greatest finish-line speed at the end of a 1 mile course (approx. 1609 meter) or 1/2 mile (approx. 804m) from a standing start. There are solo runs and each competitor has two attempts, the best of which is included in the results. Top speed will be measured in addition also at 1/2 mile (approx. 805 meter) or 1/4 mile (approx 402 meter) mark, but it will not be taken into account in the ranking. Within this event the fastest car in Baltics will be ascertained and measured speeds are exceeding 300 km/h limit already for a long time.

The aim of the event is to give to all owners of cars a legal and safe opportunity to test their cars and their own abilities. It is easy to participate, because competition car can be ordinary car which is used for daily driving and doesn’t have special equipment. So, cars of all brands and models are welcome to compete but it is very important that the car is in excellent technical condition and meets all technical requirements. Competing classes, more specific rules and requirements to the car and driver are described under rules section.

This event has been organized annually since 2001 in different airfields in Estonia, so this year it will be 22th time for One Mile Challenge. Since 2009 all one mile top speed competitions have been organized by Estonian Audi Club team.
